BIS Monitoring

Bispectral Index (BIS) monitors produced by Aspect
Medical Systems has been extensively studied to help
detect awareness during a surgical procedure.  While it
has been found to lower the incidence of recall, it can
lead to a false sense of security as prevention is not
100%, which you can read from the papers below.  We
